Congratulations Will & Kate!
Yeah, I know… it’s somewhat old news and everyone’s now talking about Pippa’s bum, but I still wanted to show you what great craic we had at the Royal Wedding party I threw!
Of course I had to make D’s favourite appetizer, sausage rolls
I found these great Royal Wedding printouts from the Tom Kat Studio and I also printed out some British flags to decorate with.
egg salad sandis on white and whole wheat bread,
with the crusts cut off of course
sharp english cheddar with jacob’s creme crackers
creme cracker close-up
some HP sauce & a Colmans english mustard sauce
good for dipping sausage rolls in
McVitie’s chocolate digestive biscuits
The official program that I had printed and bound.
D says no party at our house is complete without a trip to Kinkos!
Jelly Babies… they’re kinda gummy, kinda squishy, totally yummy
Dumbledore, our pet bird, has Royal Wedding pride
I realize that sounds crazy
The Royal Cuvee by Gloria Ferrer
fun flavoured British crisps
sure, I’ll keep calm… if I could just see Kate’s dress!
cheers to royal weddings!
love this pic
the full spread
roast chicken, prawn cocktail, smokey bacon, pickled onion, cheese and onion, and some hula hoops… why don’t we have such great flavours over here? The roast chicken and smokey bacon were declared the favourites by everyone.
always a smashing hit
I mixed the Colman’s english mustard with some dijon mustard and greek yogurt to make the dip for the sausage rolls… yum.
Mary made brilliant shortbread
Yup, even Miro cant wait to see Kate’s dress
‘allo Sara!
said in a British accent
Hula Hoops… as kids we’d stick them on our fingers and eat them off one by one
I wore my birthday hat so I was in proper wedding attire… ‘allo Cassie!
Woooohoooooo!
Miro stole my hat, so cheeky.
And yes, that is old dvr-ed shark week in the background.
After 4 hours of wedding footage the boys deserved some shark action.
Fabulous wedding…
Cheerio for now!
