I have a lot of posts that are long overdue, and this is one of them…

my awesome night out with Sarah at the Rihanna concert on June 30th!

we started off the night at Barbacco… one of my favorite spots downtown

I love their menu…

they have lots of fabulous small plates for sharing, like the arancini above!

we ordered an arugula and radicchio salad

and an adorable presentation of burrata cheese

with marinated tomatoes and basil

for our main course we shared the canneroni pasta…

rigatoni pasta tossed with an amazing lamb sugo, peas & mint

oh my god, so good.  I want to go back, right now

we also shared the sicilian meatballs, made with raisins and pine nuts…

also delicious, but no comparison with the pasta above

happily fed, we headed over to the concert

Rihanna was so cool

 and unlike Britney, she sang and danced the whole time…

I have such a girl crush now, and can’t wait for her to tour again…

mum’s going to come next time!

and we’ll get better seats for sure, no nosebleeds!!

she played every song we wanted to hear… cooler and cooler

oh, and Sarah’s pregnant, so technically Rhianna will be her baby’s first concert!

oh, wait.  she was pregnant at Lady Gaga…

that’s quite the lineup for her little baby already!!

she takes a shot during every concert supposedly…
