Don’t forget… the Bakesale for Japan is happening tomorrow from 10am till 2pm… take a look at their website to see if a location near you is participating! I’ll be en route to New York and unfortunately will be missing the actual bakesale, but my goodies will be at the Pacific Heights location at SPQR… hope you can make it!

Here’s a sneak preview of my goodies!

I’ll make sure to write up a bakesale post as soon as I return, as well as a full report on how much fun D & I end up having in NY!  Eataly here we come!

Just an FYI, but there’s going to be a Bakesale for Japan in various locations throughout the US on April 2nd!  Check out Ciao Samin for updates, but so far they have the following cities participating:

                  Oakland – Pizzaiolo (5008 Telegraph Ave.)

                  Berkeley – Gioia Pizzeria (1586 Hopkins St.)

                  Los Angeles — coming soon

                  San Francisco (Mission) – Bi-Rite Market (3639 18th St.)

                  San Francisco (Fillmore) — coming soon

                  San Jose – Roy’s Station (197 Jackson St.)

                  Marin — coming soon

                  Peninsula — coming soon

                  Santa Cruz — Lulu’s at the Octagon (118 Cooper St.) 

When: Saturday, April 2nd from 10am-2pm  

Who:  Professional and amateur bakers, cooks, artists, artisans, and musicians coming together around food to make something BIG happen.

How: Want to help?  We’ll need bakers, artists, volunteers, and lots and lots of customers.  Please send offers of help to bakesaleforjapan@gmail.com

Why: So we can donate BIG BUCKS to Peace Winds Japan and help our brothers and sisters over there in the best way we can. 

Unfortunately I will be out of town on the actual day of the bakesale, but my baked goods will still be there… try and stop by if you can!
